One fuse on both non-adaptive headlights makes the most sense to me and also jives with the theory that the OP's problem is probably connector related and not fuse related since one light still works. He says the headlights don't come on automatically at night bud so its not correct. Speculative until pics shown, but if the mirrors not autodimming type, then somebody just changed the headlight switch for a nicer one.
I had the problem with the right turn signal and headlights, but not the interior lights. The problem was in one of the fuses located under the steering wheel- need to take the whole under-assembly apart to get to it. Not very hard. But after I replaced the blown fuse and HID LIGHT, fuse blew again.
Driver's side headlight issue On a recent trip with my 2014 A4 I received a loud beep and dashboard message letting me know that my driver's side high/low beam headlight had stopped working. I ordered a replacement xenon bulb (D3S model), and because it was the driver's side bulb and therefore easily accessible, decided to install it myself.
